In the world the main existing reference to safety management level is the BS OHSAS 18001: 2007: the application of this standard allows a systemic approach to the management of occupational safety and health protection. The standard defines, as management's system of occupational health and safety (OHSMS), that part of the management system of an organization used to develop and implement its policy and the management of risks to health and safety at work.
This type of system will allow the company to provide information and training to operators, so the creation of the product is done with responsibility and awareness. This international standard (OHSAS 18001) is so entered in the work cycle, bringing benefits in terms of overall management of processes and a newfound awareness in the work safely.
